ABOUT THE AUTHOR~
Wenda L. Koon is a professional in the field of dance. In her teens she begun writing poetry and her first story. Her work is not as well known due to the intense focus on the continuation of a teaching/dance career.

Ms. Koon published a piece of poetry at the age of 17; entered a second piece of poetry titled *addicted {which was a finalist in a competition}; wrote a short based on her dance company Underpinnings: The Story of RDC {never published}. Her latest work is titled Falling Down: Tidbits. This is similar to Underpinnings, but this is the full story as Underpinnings was a means of therapy.

She has written several pieces of poetry, articles, and short stories.

The idea behind the online publication of this particular book is to inform the general public of mistrust, deceit, and outright cruelty to business persons. My latest, Falling Down: Tidbits is a true testament of what I had to endure over a period of 2 1/2 years. I sincerely, hope that another person can find comfort or closure in reading this and know that they are not alone and this can happen to anyone.

Currently, she is living in Houston, Texas after spending many years in Kingwood, Texas. One day she hopes to go back there. She still continues to enter writings into competitions and writes.

Falling Down: Preface

With the popular online books, I am creating my own version. Falling Down foretells the true actions that an individual had to endure from former employees {but were still in her employment}. In addition, here are other story shorts written as well.

The story was begun in 2009, and was originally posted as "quips" via Portrayals Blog. Now, I have decided to take the entire writing and post it online in a fresh place. This story has not been re-written or edited in any form since I first begun writing it.

Personal note from the author

I don't know why this occurred, but, I realised that writing about the perils I went thru for over two years was the best way to release negative energy. I spent many hours pondering this question, "why did they conspire against me?" I have no answers. I only have to think they have no morals, ethics, and will walk over over anyone to get what they want.
Still, five years later..... I ask the same question, sometimes.
People are in this world for themselves only and do not care if someone is trying to achieve something . They will destroy what you are working for; if you let them. They are the most horrible kind of person ever created and deserve nothing easy... for they are takers.
